Mayra Mendez has obtained her PhD in 2017 from the National Autonomous University of Mexico where she studied dynamical systems under the supervision of Adolfo Guillot. Since then, she has been teaching and doing research at the Autonomous University of the State of Morelos in Mexico. Her main research interest is geometry and dynamical systems. She has worked on Kleinian groups, geometric structures, statistics and stochastic processes.
