Dr. Deepika Kumari is a Senior Lecturer in Biotechnology and Food Engineering Program at GTIIT. She received her Bachelor, Master and PhD degrees in Biotechnology. She got awarded with Postdoctoral Research work from Chinese Academy of Sciences. Prior to joining GTIIT, she was Associate Professor from 2016 to 2020 at Tongji University, Shanghai. Deepika’s research focuses on microbial molecular diversity and environmental microbiology. In one of her pioneer works, she elucidated complete microbial diversity while analyzing more than 300 urban parks from Shanghai. She has published more than 35 research articles and review papers.
