Position Description:

We are seeking a full-time, highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Lab Manager to join our research team at GTIIT. The Lab Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of the laboratory, handling administrative and financial tasks, and providing research support when necessary. This position offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities to contribute to cutting-edge projects in synthetic biology and sustainable biomanufacturing while collaborating closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) and other lab members.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·?????? Participate in synthetic biology research projects under the supervision of the PI

·?????? Assist PI in proposal writing and technical report preparation

·?????? Laboratory administration and management?

·?????? Purchasing and reimbursement

·?????? Team Coordination and Communication

?

Required Job Specifications:

·?????? Experience in an academic or research environment, particularly within a life sciences or bioengineering laboratory

·?????? Possess the willingness and ability to conduct experiments, while demonstrating strong teamwork and a sense of responsibility

·?????? Possess strong communication skills, including proficiency in English speaking and writing

·?????? Background in Bioengineering, Biochemical Engineering, or related biological disciplines

·?????? Priority will be given to candidates with a doctoral degree
