Position Description:

The Department of Materials Science and Engineering of Guangdong Technion is now looking for an engineer familiar with plasma enhanced atomic layer deposition and magnetron sputtering coating technology to manage the thin film laboratory.

?

Duties and Responsibilities:? ????

1. Maintain the equipment of the thin film lab (the tools, spare parts, consumables, etc.) including interaction with the equipment suppliers

2. Maintain and implement all safety requirements of the lab

3. Provide technical advice on coating equipment to various research groups

4. Provide training and instruction in English to students

5. Provide atomic layer deposition and magnetron sputtering coating services

6. Report in English to the management and professors about the status of the lab

7. Keep the laboratory in good use, ensuring the cleanness and safety regulations of GTIIT

Required Job Competencies:? ? ?

1. Master or PhD degree in Materials Science and Engineering, Physics or related fields

2. At least two years of operational experience in atomic layer deposition and magnetron sputtering system

3. Experience working in a clean room

4. Excellence in safety aspects

5. Good communication skills in English and Chinese

6. Ability of solving technical problems and self-learning

7. Good communication skills and teamwork spirit
