Position Description:

Professor Zhong Ziyi's research group (https://www.gtiit.edu.cn/viewStaff.aspx?staffNo=50)? focuses on heterogeneous catalysis research.?

The laboratory manager is a scientific research position engaging in and assisting other scientific researchers in the research group to complete scientific research tasks. Candidates should have a good research background in heterogeneous catalysis, a doctorate or master's degree in chemistry and chemical engineering, especially familiar with the use and maintenance of conventional and high-pressure fixed-bed reactors and gas chromatography, independent research ability, and diligent and down-to-earth attitude. Those who are competent can get longer job opportunities. Preference will be given to those with relevant work experience and published articles.

Research Assistant: Fresh or work experience graduates from the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• The responsibilities of the laboratory manager are as follows.

(1) Operate and maintain laboratory equipment under the direction of the supervisor

(2) Conduct research work on heterogeneous catalysis independently or in cooperation with other researchers such as graduate students

(3) Assist and guide graduate and undergraduate students in their research

(4) Write research proposals and project applications

• The responsibilities of research assistants are as follows.

(1) Assist in laboratory maintenance

(2) Help to purchase reagents and instruments

(3) Responsible for laboratory safety and basic equipment

(4) Participate in project research

Required Job Specifications:

Lab manager: with a doctorate or master's degree in chemistry and chemical engineering, with experience in heterogeneous catalysis

Research assistant: Fresh or experienced graduates with a Bachelor's or Master's degree from the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering.
