Position Description: Environmental Science and Engineering Program of GTIIT is looking for a motivated lab technician to support the research and training activities in the wastewater treatment and resource recovery laboratory of Associate Professor Xiaowu Huang. The lab technician will be responsible for the daily management of the laboratory and assist in the development of research work.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·?????? Responsible for maintenance of the instruments and safety audit in the laboratory

·?????? Responsible for the daily technical and administrative work of the research group

·?????? Assist other researchers to carry out scientific work

·?????? Responsible for compeleting the tasks assigned by the PI

?

Required Job Specifications:

·?????? Required qualification / academic degree: Bachelor or Master degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or relevant fields (Applicant with Master degree is preferred).

·?????? Required experience:? 1) Experiences in wastewater treatment and biosolids refinery ??2) Experiences in bioreactor operation, microbial analysis, and applications of UV, TOC, IC, HPLC, and TEM (Preferred)

·?????? Language ability: Strong communication skills; Good English communication skills (>CET-4)
