Position Description??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

The incumbent will be responsible for writing, editing and reporting University news in a timely and accurate manner. S/he will collaborate to organize University public affairs activities. S/he will get involved in University website development and maintenance, and help manage GTIIT subscription accounts on different social media platforms.

Duties and Responsibilities????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

·? ??Write press releases, brochures, fact sheets, newsletters and correspondence.

·? ? Translate English and Chinese news and relevant documents.

·? ??Help arrange press conferences and briefings. Support for communications of university's events and mega events.

·????Post news and prepare periodic reports and presentations to update school website and social media accounts.

·? ??Answer routine questions and inquiries from media and the public.

·? ??Help build and maintain outbound communications?to establish and promote GTIIT's image.

·????Initiate and suggest new PR projects and programs with supervisor consent.???????

·? ??Complete other tasks assigned by superiors.

·??Required qualification: Master's degree from an internationally reputable university. Candidates with scientific backgrounds or major in?journalism/ English will be preferred.

·????Required experience: Relevant working experiences is highly preferred.

Required Job Competencies????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

·? ??Good news writing and translation skills: both in Chinese and English.

·????Good photography skills and aesthetic judgement.

·????Required proficiency in processing soft wares, e.g. WordPress, Photoshop, Adobe?Premiere, Adobe Illustrator, etc.

·????Sensitivity to news, experiences in writing and selecting topics.

·????Good skills of communications.

·????General knowledge about science and technology.

·????Team spirits, able to cooperate with others.

·????Creative thinking.

·????Resistance to pressure.
