Position Description:

The research group uses phase modulation techniques to investigate how the ultrafast processes at femtosecond timescale that occur in molecules, molecular aggregates, semiconductors and superconductors contribute to the functionality of devices made out of them. This is an emerging field of research in functional spectroscopy. The group is also active in improving the existing methods and developing new ones.? Most of the R&D requires synergy of electronics, optics and time-resolved spectroscopy using high repetition rate femtosecond lasers. We are looking for lab manager/researcher who has strong background in laser development, optics, spectroscopy, and/or electronics. Interest in engaging undergraduate and master students to apply the ideas developed in the group to other areas of scientific research or commercial products is highly encouraged.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·????????Manage day-to-day operation of the lab

·????????Participate in R&D of experimental setups for spectroscopy

·????????Assist students and post-docs carry out their research

Required Job Specifications:

·???????Required qualification / academic degree: Master’s degree or PhD in physics (optics/spectroscopy) or electronic engineering.

·???????Required experience: More than five years of experience in R&D
