Position Description:

Support laboratory-based scientific investigations by carrying out routine technical tasks and experiments. Work with laboratory equipment to analyze samples or substances, conduct tests on those samples or substances, and report on their findings. Assist PI to manage the lab.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Involved in every aspect of laboratory work, from recording data to maintaining equipment. Responsible for various tasks that follow strict guidelines and regulations, including protecting the accuracy and efficiency of experiments while keeping labs organized.

Required Job Specifications:

·?????? Required qualification/academic degree: Environmental Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, or a similar discipline as a bachelor’s degree.

Required experience:?

·?????? Comprehensive knowledge of laboratory devices is required.

·?????? Possessing the ability to safely handle potentially hazardous material (flammable liquids, biohazards, etc.).

·?????? The expertise of administrative procedures, precautionary measures, and laboratory ideal practices is essential.

·?????? An operating understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite, as well as database management systems, is required.

·?????? Ability to operate independently.

·?????? Strong command over communication, orally and written.

·?????? Paying active attention to each and every slight detail.

·?????? Analytical abilities.
