Position Description:

The Mechanical Engineering Program (group of Madan Kumar) is looking for one Research Assistant to assist in the development of a new engine combustion (IC engine) laboratory and for managing research projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·?????? ?Handling of new equipment purchasing and installation in IC engine lab

·?????? ?Setup maintenance and conduct experiment

·?????? Daily technical and administrative work in laboratory

·?????? Draft report and manuscript in English and Chinese

·?????? Additional duties assigned by PI

Required Job Specifications:

·?????? Required qualification / academic degree: ?Master/Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or in a close field

·?????? Required experience:? Experience/interest in internal combustion (IC) engine laboratory maintenance and experiment conduct

?

Required Job Competencies:?????

·?????? Language ability: speaking and writing English (essential), speaking and writing Chinese (essential)

·?????? Familiar of internal combustion engine operation?

·?????? Computational simulation software knowledge (preferred)??????????????
