Gaokao Subject Excellence Award (GSEA) is given to all those enrolled undergraduate students who have surpassed benchmarks for excellence in a particular Gaokao subject.

Eligibility and Value of Gaokao Subject Excellence Award

Students are eligible for GSEA if they have scored 80% and above of the full marks in English, Mathematics and Physics (or general sciences in provinces/municipalities where such policy applies) in Gaokao 2021. A student will receive three awards if his/her eligibility is verified. The value for each award is RMB30,000.

Procedure

Gaokao Subject Excellence Award?requires no application. Any enrolled student who meets the criteria will be given the Award automatically.?Gaokao Subject Excellence Award?is a lump-sum payment and no retention is made possible. A student who is eligible for?both Gaokao Subject Excellence Award?and Chancellor’s Scholarship will be awarded the Chancellor’s Scholarship unless the Scholarship Committee is otherwise informed. ?

Final decisions are subject to the GTIIT Scholarship Committee.?
