The appointee shall perform diverse tasks to ensure that construction projects are meeting specifications and being completed in a safe and timely manner. S/he shall also be in charge of EHS department.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Supervise construction projects sites for indoor and outdoor of GTIIT campuses .

2. Responsible for coordinating the relations between GTIIT and relevant government administrative departments in charge as well as contractors involved.?

3. Review construction drawings and track and supervise construction progress ensuring that they meet the requirements of the Technion and GTIIT.

4. Responsible for quality evaluation and project inspection. Maintain safe work practices and follow international and local guidelines concerning building projects.

5. Responsible for evaluation and inspection of complex and advanced research and teaching laboratory construction.

6. Meet with contractors to review worksite safety and construction changes regularly.

7. Submit reports regarding project progress.

Required Job Specifications

· Required qualification: Master degree or above in Civil Engineering or relevant field, preferably with overseas education/work experience

· Required experience: Preferably 3 years or above relevant experience in similar capacity

Required Job Competencies

· Advanced English ability, able to work in an English-speaking environment

· Knowledge and experience in laboratory construction, scientific instruments and materials.

· Good communication skills
