Position Description:

Associate Prof. Xuan ZHAN’s research group focuses on the study of porphyrin (corrole) compounds, and promotes the application of molecules or materials in the fields of energy catalysis and biomedicine based on the compounds. The group is now actively seeking the experienced lab manager to join the research team.

?

Duties and Responsibilities:

·?????? Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as glove boxes.?

·?????? Order and check the chemicals and laboratory equipment, and be responsible for the installation and adjustment of the equipment and components.

·?????? Manage laboratory safety procedures and demonstrate the operating procedures of major laboratory equipment to the team members.

·?????? Assist the PI with administrative tasks, including meeting preparation and academic visit.

?

Required Job Specifications:

·??????Required qualification / academic degree: Bachelor degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or Materials Science. Master degree is preferred.

·?????? Required experience: Two or more years of experience in operating laboratory instruments such as glove boxes, HPLC, and GC-MS in a chemistry/chemical engineering laboratory.

·?????? Language ability: Excellent in English writing and speaking

·?????? Proficient in office software (e.g., Excel, Word, etc.)

·?????? Ability to quickly learn and grasp the operation of new software/equipment required for the workplace.????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
