BeforeAfter  Nicole knows the importance of saying affirmations and loves the fact that she can affirm herself as she works out. Nicole is working out three to five times a week. Two days out of the week, she does the "Power of Positive Aerobics" tape and the other days she participates in non-team sports such as roller blading, walking, or working out at her club.

  Nicole is successfully obtaining her goals. She uses exercise to help manage season weight gain from prescription medication she used in the summer. Almost all prescription medication causes - at the very least - water weight gain or more permanent weight gain due to increase in appetite. "Working out with this video helps a lot with losing both water and more permanent weight gain - I have lost a total of 20 pounds (and counting) in a relatively short period of time since integrating this video with diet. I put on those 20 pounds in just a few weeks after I started a new medication, so really turned it around from rapid weight gain to weight loss!", says Nicole.

"I also use exercise, along with the affirmations to help regulate my mood. I am especially susceptible to the "Winter Blahs" from November to March and this year has been much improved. I like the convenience of using the video on days when it is too cold (or I just feel too comfortable at home) to go outside. I have neither the space nor the budget to buy exercise equipment, so the video is perfect for me."

   The aerobic movements are fun. Nicole has done a lot of different workout videos and this workout is easy on her knees. She also likes the three levels of intensity, although she usually works out at the most intense pace. On days she's feeling a bit more sluggish, she drops down to the mid-level.
