 Letting Go of Sugar and Embracing Self-Love

Mine is supporting individuals diagnosed with cancer, cancer survivors and their caregivers by giving them Meditative Movements™. When we met, we acknowledged the importance of replacing a harmful habit (i.e. eating sweets) with a nurturing one (i.e. Meditative Movements™).

No one wants to give up something sweet. In today's times, quite a few of us are addicted to sugar. Understandably so because of the natural properties of white sugar. It makes us feel good. Like any drug, it has negative side effects as we consume it more and more.

The I Let Go Meditative Movement™ and the I Am Loved Meditative Movement™ can be used to replace a harmful habit or create a new habit. Instead of reaching for that piece of cake or cookie, try practicing the movements to get you through the craving phase. My recommendation is to practice the I Let Go Meditative Movement™ first. You can consciously acknowledge that you are releasing the sugar craving. Then practice the I Am Loved Meditative Movement™ affirming that you are caring for yourself in this new way.

     

The movements are two to four minutes long and can be performed anywhere, at any time. My innovative Meditative Movements™ program integrates movements that are adaptable to anyone's physical ability with the breath and core value affirmations. You may think it is so simple, it cannot possibly work.

A 2017 University of Minnesota research study found this technique reduces anxiety, depression and fatigue while improving emotional and functional wellbeing for persons with chronic health conditions. Youth, adults, and seniors enjoy practicing the movements which strengthen their bodies, calm their minds and energize their spirit.
